Leading experts recently convened at the United States capitol to discuss the current state and future of AI in healthcare. Organizers of the summit, UW Health and Epic, have now released a report outlining key recommendations for policymakers to consider, “The rapid pace of AI development presents challenges for implementation, usage and regulation, but with collaboration across the health and technology sectors, alongside governmental partners, it is possible to enable this technology to provide positive outcomes in health care,” said Chero Goswami, chief information and digital officer at UW Health.
