In Good Hands

Epic is built by the people who work here, and to recognize that, plaster molds of their hands are put up on the walls on each person’s 10-year anniversary. The handprints represent our staff being part of the fabric of the walls, which hold up the buildings, which make up Epic. Hidden amongst the walls of hands you can find Vulcan salutes and children’s handprints.

Jesse and Andy from our MyChart R&D team practiced for this year's MyChart Advisory Council welcome session at XGM where they performed an EHR-themed parody of the Turtles hit song “Happy Together.” The song covered topics like open notes, new mobile user interfaces, meaningful use, and features coming to MyChart.

Home Day is Poppin’

Volunteers come in to work early to help make popcorn for our monthly company-wide staff meeting. Popcorn is a tradition from when we held staff meeting in a local movie theater.

Kuiper Web

Josh works on development for Kuiper, our web-based deployment tool. Kuiper, which rhymes with hyper, was named after the Dutch-American astronomer who helped determine the first moon landing sites. Josh was the lead developer for our new website.

Runnin’ Around Town

Epic project manager Brogan Austin recently competed in the Olympic Time Trials Marathon in Los Angeles. He finished with a time of 2:24, averaging 5 minutes and 30 seconds per mile.
