Trinity Health and several Anthem BCBS health plans have signed a new value-based partnership through Payer Platform

Trinity Health and several Anthem BCBS health plans have signed a new multi-year provider network contract that includes advanced collaboration on data connectivity and value-based reimbursement models through Epic’s Payer Platform. The contract also creates several new value-based initiatives, including for preventive medicine, annual visits, and the establishment of operating guidelines to reduce administrative reviews. Payer Platform will allow the organizations to transact care gap data in real-time and reduce prior authorization burdens on clinicians.
