Water generators could be a solution for water scarcity

Water scarcity is a growing global crisis, with 10% of people worldwide lacking access to clean drinking water. An Israeli company, Water-Gen, is hoping to solve the problem with a refreshing innovation. Their atmospheric water generators rely on electricity and humidity in the air to produce water, which is then passed through a filtration system and stored. The industrial-sized machines can produce more than 800 gallons of water per day, at only 10 cents a gallon. The company is working with numerous governments to make this a reality for the regions needing it most.
