Quick, Convenient Mobile Payments with MyChart

Patients can see their test results, review their visit summaries, and send messages to providers with MyChart. It’s also easy for patients to view and manage their outstanding payment balances online, without tracking down paper statements. Patients at Michigan Medicine appreciate the convenience, and have used MyChart to make over $25.6 million in online payments over three months.

From a phone or computer, patients can view paperless statements and use MyChart’s self-service features, including bill pay, scheduling, and messaging their providers.

“Allowing secure, online access to health information is really just a reflection of everything else happening in society as consumers come to expect convenient access to services,” said Dr. Margaret Punch, associate CMIO for patient engagement at Michigan Medicine. “We know that patients want accurate and timely information.”
