NYU Langone Medical Center’s Tisch Hospital, Rusk Rehabilitation, and Hospital for Joint Diseases received the HIMSS Stage 7 Award while their ambulatory practices received the Stage 7 Ambulatory award, making NYU Langone the first health system in New York State to achieve Stage 7 in either category.
HIMSS Analytics reviewers called NYU Langone’s disaster recovery strategy and infrastructure one of the best they’ve seen and commended NYU Langone for its bundled payment program, which reviewers said indicates that they are prepared for success in a value-based payment system.
