Lyft to Integrate with Epic, Enabling Ride Scheduling within EHR Workflow

Ride-sharing app Lyft announced Thursday that it would be integrating with Epic to allow healthcare staff to schedule rides for patients directly from their electronic health record. According to the company, Lyft for Epic can help providers schedule rides directly from a patient’s profile in the EHR. Patients do not need to have access to the app on their phones.
