Emmie, an AI assistant now available in Epic’s MyChart, provides patients with a secure, conversational way to better understand their health information.

Emmie allows patients to ask questions about their health records and receive immediate, personalized responses grounded by information in their chart. “We’re always looking for ways to make healthcare simpler, more accessible, and more personal,” said Michael Sura, VP of business solutions for Community Health Network. “With Emmie, patients can get clear answers about their health and take next steps with confidence right from MyChart. It’s another way we’re using technology to remove barriers and help patients stay connected to their care.”
