Advocate Health, ECU Health See Early Wins with Agent Factory

July 31, 2026
From infusion chart prep to discharge rounds, Epic's Agent Factory is helping clinical teams at health systems large and small.

Advocate Health and ECU Health are seeing real results with Epic’s Agent Factory. Advocate is live with autonomous agents handling inpatient pharmacy and infusion chart prep. ECU Health has deployed AI-generated chart summaries system-wide across all nine of its hospitals, giving case managers a fast, accurate view of a patient’s full stay during daily discharge rounds. According to ECU’s Jacob Parrish, the tool has already cut chart review time by about 20 hours per week. Read more in Healthcare IT News about how the two health systems are successfully putting Agent Factory to work.
