A text a day…

Could a text make a difference to your health?
For six months, researchers sent text messages to thousands of people each day reminding them to eat fruits and vegetables, exercise, and follow other habits that can prevent diabetes. When compared to the control group, text recipients were significantly more likely to improve their health behaviors.
The study suggests that text messages could be a cheap and effective method to alter health behaviors at the population level.
