The newest building on Epic’s campus will have the coolest theme, like, ever: Barbie Dream House. After the Barbie movie lit up box offices in 2023, Epic’s architectural firm, Cuningham, decided to ride the wave and bring the popular trend to Verona.

Cuningham renderings show a bubblegum pink exterior, adding a new hue to campus. The latest addition is set to feature a slide into a pool, real working elevators, and three custom lighting settings: day, night, and party! Conference room names include Beach, Girls’ Night, and Mojo Dojo Casa House.

The new doll-themed workspace harkens back to Epic’s beginnings, when the healthcare software company got its start in the basement of an office building that was also home to Subject Index, which would later become the Pleasant Company—creator of the American Girl Doll.

The building and waterbody were approved for construction by the Verona Plan Commission on April 1^st and are expected to open on June 23^rd, 2025 – National Pink Day.
