UCHealth Receives HIMSS Stage 7

HIMSS reviewers made special mention of the organization’s innovations in treating strokes when UCHealth in Colorado was awarded HIMSS Stage 7 for its hospitals and clinics.

UCHealth uses telestroke services to connect stroke patients with neurologists remotely. The organization is also one of the first in the world with a mobile stroke treatment unit—outfitted with Epic, a CT scanner, and a video feed—that brings the ED to stroke patients, helping them get treatment sooner.
