Epic’s Transport App Helps Boost Patient Satisfaction 33% at Hackensack

Patients at Hackensack University Medical Center are spending less time waiting for beds after they’re admitted, helping contribute to a 33% boost in their overall satisfaction. The faster turnaround is the result of Epic’s Rover Transport app, which lets transporters manage their transportation requests from a smart phone.
At Johns Hopkins Medicine and Yale New Haven Health System, the app has led to a time savings of 3 to 5 minutes per patient transport. Epic Community Members can find the recipe for seeing similar results in the Revenue Cycle Program.
